Where is the Sprout Fiber Internet Main Line?
In Phase 1, we are building a fiber "ring" to connect all of our substations and offices to improve the quality and reliability of our electric service. As a result, more than 12,000 co-op members located near the path of the main line fiber will have access to Sprout Fiber Internet service. If Phase 1 is successful, additional phases will be built with the ultimate goal of making high-speed internet service available to every Cullman Electric member.

IN THE HOME
Fiber internet has revolutionized the way we entertain ourselves and communicate with friends and family. It allows us to stream video and play video games online, video chat with friends across the globe and post vacation photos on social media. Fiber internet provides the necessary bandwidth to turn your house into a smart home where a few clicks will control lighting, heating and air conditioning, electronics, security systems, and so much more.
Fast, reliable internet is essential to economic development. The availability of highspeed internet is one of the primary factors businesses consider when determining when and where to locate. Fiber internet also improves the productivity and profitability of large, small and home-based businesses and allows them to compete in local, national and global markets.
Fiber internet improves remote access to health care, supporting cost-effective access to quality care. It also allows physicians to monitor their patients through innovative home-health devices, which avoids expensive house calls and provides patients with real-time feedback.
